How
to Crop Your Pictures
Easy PhotoShop Tutorial
In this easy PhotoShop tutorial, I will show you a step by step "How to Crop your Scanned Pictures," if you are using Adobe PhotoShop 6.0 or 7.0. In this tutorial we will use the CROP tool. And hopefully, you already know how to scan your picture into PhotoShop.
I'm going to start with a scanned image of a basket of apples. I know, this is not a very good picture, but it was taken during my days when I was learning about "lighting and shadows." Almost any picture you take can be fixed in PhotoShop, unless it's extremely too light, or way too dark.
So
Let's Crop it!
We're going to crop the white out of the picture.
So click on that button where the arrow is pointing, which is your "CROP"
tool.

Place the cropping tool in the top left corner, press your left mouse button and hold it... dragging the square across your whole picture. Like this How to use the Photoshop Cropping Tool.
