Private Beach Sign Picture

Okay, enough of the Fall Foliage, let's get back to the beach!
This is a picture of a Private Beach Sign, and believe me there are alot of them in New England.
This is not one of those cheap metal ones either.
As you can see it has been carefully routered and cornered.
Is this sign actually on the beach? Not really, it is sitting up on the bank where the high tide can't reach it.

But during the summer months the residents who own the fancy beach houses lay claim to every square inch of beach below this sign.
During the off season they really don't care if you walk below the sign, but you always feel they may be peering out their windows watching you or with the fancy telescopes.
