Falling Leaves
in New England
I learned something today. I learned how hard it is to take a picture of falling leaves.
First of all you need a background where you'll be able to see the leaves falling, and you need a fast shutterspeed, unless you want to show some motion of the leaf falling.
Here in New England the wind always starts blowing when the ocean tide is either coming in or the tide is going out.

We live about a twenty minute drive from the ocean, yet we still feel the effects of the tides, even if it's through the wind. So the picture for today is not necessarily leaves falling, but we'll have to settle for leaves blowing.
