Effects of Waves
on an Ocean Beach
Look what effect the ocean waves have on a beach here in Connecticut.
As the waves go out, it creates a ripple effect in the sand.
It looks really cool, especially when the sun is setting in the sky.

I'm not sure why the waves have this effect, except that the sand is so fine on certain beaches and the tide goes out slower than usual.
